Bhagawati Bahen, 54 years old from Nisarpur Village, one of the Sardar Sarovar oustees is on an indefinite fast since 27th July. It’s her 15th day on fast, but she is determined to continue it until the MP government doesn’t assure complete rehabilitation and resettlement. She has started the fast with 11 other activists including Medha Patkar, but 10 of them have been arrested on 7th August by MP police, and two of them left behind, so they have continued the hunger strike.
